Will the text come from my normal business number?
Yes, that is the goal of the setup. We configure it so replies look and feel like they come from your business, and we make sure the setup follows the ACMA sender ID rules that started in 2026.
What if the caller is an existing customer or a telemarketer?
The message is written so it reads naturally for anyone. Existing customers just reply as normal, and you can exclude saved contacts or known numbers if you prefer.
Do I need an AI receptionist, or is text-back enough?
For most small businesses text-back recovers the bulk of missed enquiries at a fraction of the cost. We recommend starting there and only adding AI phone answering if your call volume genuinely needs it.
